Dorne'da yaşananlar kitapla hiç uyuşmuyor. (zaten ne uyuşuyor ki denebilir). Prens Doran kitaptakine gore çok zayıf gosterilmiş bir karakter dizide. Kitapta gorunuşte zayıf ve yaşlı ama intikam için buyuk planlar yapmış ve bunları hayata geçirmek için cabaları vardı.
Aynı şekilde yakın koruması Areo Hotah yine kitapta çok daha iyi gosterilen guçlu bir karakter.

Dizideki gosterimleri ve oluş şekilleri çok basit oldu.

Stannis'in kitapta daha Kuzeyde mucadelesi suruyor , burda olumu çok kolay oldu.

genede beklentinin ustunde bir sezon açılışı oldu, daha kotu sezon açılış bolumlerini de gormuştuk.

dizi kitapların belki onune geçti , Martin'in yazmadıklarını bize farklı yollarla gosterdi ama eminim ki 6. kitap çıktığında buyuk keyifle okuyacağım, cunku dizi beni kitap kadar tatmin etmiyor, tum gorsel unsurlara ragmen.
